In order to understand the story we should know that the conflicts between hutus and tutsis started a long time ago. In 1972, 350.000 hutus were killed by tutsis in the neighbour country, Burundi. This fact made that in Rwanda appeared a strange feeling against tutsis.
Before the conflict of 1994, around the 85% of the population in Rwanda was hutu, and the rest, the12%, tutsi.
The most shocking thing is that those two etnias hate each other but there are no clear differences between them; only that hutus have a darkest colour of skin, and tutsis are taller and their skin's colour seems more like chocolate.
According with ONU, in 100 days there were more than 800.000 dead people.
A lot of tutsis had to leave Rwanda and going to the neighbour countries, and some of them were more luckily and could go to Europe.
After that, tutsis attacked hutus again, and followed them until DRCongo.
